Here are the NH level 9 and 10 regional qualifiers! Congratulations to all - For all of you who cheered Lindsey on, in person or remotely, thank you. The Tri-Star Gymnastics family is strong :). I am so proud of my regional qualifier and NH Uneven Bars State Champion, Lindsey Dutton, as well as 2nd place on floor and 5th overall (and something on vault, I think). The girls all put hours and hours of practice in, pass on school and activities with friends because they love this sport. As proud of her as I am for the results, I am even more proud of some other things: * Setting a goal and working on it. * Perseverance galore. For her to come back so strongly after her first event, where she didnt do as she had hoped, is amazing. Those of you who know Lindsey know that persistence and perseverance are part of who she is. She showed it Friday. * Putting all her effort in to reach her goal when it really mattered. She pulled out all the stops in the meet - an amazing big girl tumbling pass, going for it on vault, and pushing through pain on bars and nailing every single element. * She was both a giver and a receiver of great friendship last week. For all of you, I am grateful and in awe that you are *only* teenage girls. This is a bit long-winded, and something I would generally do just between me and Lindsey, but she was such an amazing young woman this week that I had to share.
