Here are the answers to my little riddle about my bicycle commute - TopicsExpress

Here are the answers to my little riddle about my bicycle commute home, and why it takes me longer to ride home, than ride to work, although I take the same route. Traffic affects my return commute time the least...I always have options on a bike of cutting through a parking lot, or crossing to the other side of the street. Traffic does slow me down a little in the afternoon vs mid-morning commute so TRAFFIC is one reason my ride home takes longer. Another reason is that my apartment is located on higher ground than my place of work. This means on my trip home, I am peddling uphill, which adds about 3 minutes to the trip home ! And the thing that can add the most time to my home bound commute is the NORTH WIND! I ride in a Northerly direction to get home and If the wind blows more that 10 miles per hour, it can take me 30% or more longer to arrive home due to the strong headwind! Thanx for all the great guesses! Very Creative! Now, get out there and RIDE! https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=10201863799188566&set=a.1142724580224.2019602.1590762900&type=1&theater¬if_t=photo_comment Carolyn White Oxendine, Stacey Coffman, Shannon McCabe, Harold F.
