Here are the instructions for how you can participate in Baileys Elf on the Shelf, Peppermint. These are instructions from the organization putting this all together for her. Maybe you can go in with a few people to buy the elf and then share it with your friends and family...just a thought! HOW YOU CAN HELP If you would like to help make Baileys Christmas a little brighter, just follow these steps. The attached photo below will show what Peppermint should look like with her special blackened right glove. 1. Acquire an Elf on the Shelf. • For consistency it must be an official Elf on the Shelf. • The model must be a girl elf with light skin. shop.elfontheshelf/collections/frontpage/products/the-elf-on-the-shelf-a-christmas-tradition-girl-light • The item is pretty easily found at stores like Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Hallmark, Toys R Us, etc. as well as online. To find the nearest store go to: apps.elfontheshelf/content/elf-adoption-centers • For that matter, one of your friends may already have a Girl Elf on the Shelf from past Christmases, or you may find one on Craig’s List. 2. Blacken Peppermints Right glove. • To differentiate Peppermint from all of her cousin elves, completely color the right glove black (no white showing), using a felt marker. Color both top and bottom of the right glove. You may cut the stitch holding the hands together to make it easier. 3. Take a short video or photo of Peppermint in unusual places observing people. • Remember that Peppermint is just an observer watching and listening to others. They should be visible. • Peppermint cannot be held or touched in the video or photo (or her magical powers cease). • Make sure her black glove is visible in the video or photo. • Please submit videos or photos from as many locations as you wish. • At the end of videos please admonish Peppermint by saying Peppermint! You better get back to Bailey! Be creative. Invite your family and friends to share ideas. 4. Send the video or photo of Peppermint to baileyspeppermint@gmail Always communicate any questions through this private e-mail so Bailey wont see them on Peppermints page. When you send your video or photo, be sure to tell us, • Where Peppermint is at (examples, at Pioneer Trail Senior High School, A Kansas City Chiefs game). • Who Peppermint is observing (examples, the teacher Mr. Jones, the players). • City, State, Country where the video or photo was taken. Please send any questions through this gmail account. Do not post questions on Pepperments Facebook page. Shell see them. 5.
