Here are the promised pics of the Canal Family. I got a call from a wonderful guy, Jimmy, who works for the Water District and had been taking care of a family of dogs by a canal. They had pups that were starting to walk and he was concerned the pups would fall in the canal. Jimmy met me yesterday morn and helped me gather the family up and off to safety. Many thanks to Jimmy and his wife, Danielle, and to Peggy of Second Chances Rescue who is holding them for a few days until we can come up with a new plan. I am really impressed with this doggy family. They really kept it together when the odds were against them. If anyone can foster these crew that would be awesome. If not, we are trying to find another rescue. I have just had it in my heart that we could find a way to keep Mom and Dad together after babies are adopted.
