Here are the top 10 richest pastors in the world as of 2014. 1) David Oyedepo - Net worth: $150 Million (Nigeria) 2) Chris Oyakhilome - Net worth: $50 Million (Nigeria) 3) Benny Hinn - Net worth: $42 Million (United States) 4) Creflo Dollar - Net worth: $27 Million (United States) 5) Billy Graham - Net worth: $25 Million (United States) 6) T. D. Jakes - Net worth: $18 Million (United States) 7) T.B. Joshua - Net worth: $15 Million (Nigeria) 8) Chris Okotie - Net worth: $10 Million (Nigeria) 8) Matthew Ashimolowo - Net worth: $10 Million (Nigeria) 10) Joseph Prince - Net worth: $5 Million (Singapore) Notice 5 Names on the list are Nigerians. 1 from Singapore & 4 from the USA. Whats the difference between these other countries & Nigeria? Simple, these other places are developed industrious countries, with advanced medical and technological field. Also they have very a low level of corruption. In regards to the Nigerian pastors, how exactly have these millionaires ($) or billionaires (N) impacted the lives of the masses in their country? When it comes to Religion, we Nigerians are too gullible. We worship men as gods. Nigerian pastors love quoting the (in)famous Malachi 3:10 verse in the bible. Its the verse thats always quoted before tithes & offerings....... Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it The other verses are; Matthew 7:1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. & 1 Chronicles 16:22 Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm. Nigeria pastors have used these verses to both oppress and milk dry their gullible congregation. Ironic they would never quote these verses, that paten to their wealth...... Matthew 19:24 Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. and Matthew 6:19 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. or Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” I have nothing against riches or wealth. But Nigeria pastors this days emphasizes more on prosperity preaching and flamboyant lifestyles. And instead on focusing their preaching on salvation and wining souls for heaven, the gospel now is more about prosperity, winning souls (new members) for the church and messages of how Jesus was made poor so they would be rich.
