Here are this weeks Life Group questions. Have a great night! 1) Its important to develop an attitude of gratitude in our lives. Go around the group and mention some of the things that you are grateful to God for in your life? 2) In Jeremiah 29:11, God says For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. What are you believing God for in the future both personally and for our church? 3) The Church in the book of Acts was a thriving community that experienced growth and impacted communities. 2000 years later, the Church is alive and well! What are the hallmarks of a great 21st church and how can each of us play our part in making it happen? What benefits does a thriving Church have on a town (like Loughborough)? 4) Bill Hybels wrote The local church is the hope of the world. Mention some of the challenges and benefits of being part of a community. Why is it healthier to do life in community than in isolation? 5) Jesus said Go into all the world and share the good news (Mark 16:15). How can each of us play our part in ensuring we stay outwardly focussed? Do you find it easy to share your faith with your unchurched friends & colleagues? When was the last time you did this? How can we get better? 6) Alpha is a brilliant 10 part course that introduces unchurched people to the Christian faith. Its relaxed and informal - allowing people to ask any question they want in a safe and non-threatening environment. Take a minute to write down a list of people you could buy a ticket for the Alpha launch dinner next Wednesday night (22nd October). Then each person take some time to pray over your list. Lets believe God.
