Here are this weeks Life Group questions (based on the talk from last Sunday morning on Ephesians 3:14-21) 1) Pauls prayer for the Christians in Ephesians 3:14-21 longs for them to grasp the magnitude of the love of Christ. What difference does it make in our lives to know we are loved? 2) Christs love cant be grasped by mere information since it is love that surpasses knowledge v19. It can only be grasped by revelation. What is the difference between information and revelation? 3) Knowing were loved means we have nothing to prove. Why is this truth both liberating and challenging? 4) When we know were loved, we can face any storm in life. Why? 5) The outworking of grasping Christs love for us is that we develop a Christ-like love for others. What does like look like? Why does it go beyond mere emotions? 6) The God we serve is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. If we really believe this, what impact would it have on our faith and generosity? 7) Paul finishes his prayer on a note of praise (Read verse 21). He speaks about Christ being glorified in the church. In other words, individualism (i.e. doing your own thing) is not glorifying to Christ. Church is about selflessness and team work. Why does it glorify Christ when each member of of the church serves a cause that is bigger than themselves?
