Here are two quick still frame out takes from last night salmon snorkel survey in the Somass river. Lots of Chinook and some Coho. not much else salmon wise. Truckloads of sticklebacks and some freshwater sculpins. We did the survey at a 10 foot high tide and the vize was oke. The tide flooded some grass patches where the smolt was hiding. Amazing how well they blend in. At the end I was bumped by waht I think was a seal but never got to see it other than the big splash. Kind of eerie during a night snorkel
