Here at Home Sweet Home, we want to take a moment to recognize Marshall, a residential staff who was working during the fierce winds, lightning storms, and tornado warnings early Tuesday morning. Marshall woke up all of the residents in the middle of the night to bring them to the basement for safety purposes. Since that night, we have heard consistent praise from our residents for how Marshall handled this stressful night. “He was like Superman! Marshall was going up and down the stairs carrying a baby in one arm and the stroller in the other!” “He was so calm that he just made everyone feel like it was going to be ok.” “I’ll tell you somethin’ right now, Marshall showed last night how much he really cares for all of us here. I always thought he cared but he really proved it last night!” Here at Home Sweet Home, we are honored to have people like Marshall as a part of our ministry, who show Christ’s love in the midst of stressful circumstances. Individuals like this make up who we are at Home Sweet Home, and the way in which we believe true community is developed. Thank you Marshall!
