Here at PHSGA, we absolutely love getting updates about the animals that were adopted from us. Whether it has only been a few hours or a few years, to see the animals we once cared for thriving in a loving home is by far the best part of the work we do here. Back in 2012, a small tortie cat came to our facility after suffering horrific chemical burns to her head and ears. She was so small and frail but had the best attitude and simply never gave up her battle to fully recover. And that she did. We named her Baby Doll and she ended up being adopted into a wonderful home. Recently, we received this update from her mom: Abbey, aka Babydoll - rescued/adopted in 2012. The love of our lives! Thank you, Pawsibilities Humane Society of Greater Akron, for giving her a second chance at life and us the opportunity to show her the love she deserves. How wonderful! We are thrilled to see our friend Abbey happy and doing so well:-) You can judge for yourselves but to us, this little girl is the definition of a survivor!
