Here goes Ana Baber....#5 1) II wore a Milwaukee back brace for 4 yrs due to scoliosis. Couldnt see the books on my desk or the food on my plate but my family & friends were great about it! Definitely a date magnet!! 2) I sang the National Anthem with a couple of HHS students including Steve Riley at the Charleston Civic Center before a game. 3) I got engaged at the Marshall Memorial Fountain as Tom wrote Will you marry me? with water on its cement border. I thought we were just getting money from the Owl Machine to go to the movies. 4) I took a group of Wesleyan students to England with 2 other professors for 3 weeks for an international course. Loved the castles, the churches, the schools, Stonehenge..... Experience of a lifetime!! 5) My ultimate surprise gift from Tom, above jewelry, trips, & adventures, was my beautiful puppy Petrie who filled our lives with happiness for almost 16 yrs.
