Here he is guys! He came strolling by Floyd and I yesterday evening around 7:00 and presented me with a perfect 30 yrd shot. I drew back and centered my pin on him and...WHOP!! I hit him directly in the liver! I automatically got that sick feeling and we decided to back out until late morning before we went and searched for him. The shot was definitely not good, but he was in BAD shape and he slowly stumbled off. Now...........lets rewind to earlier that evening when climbing in my stand. When I got to the top of the tree, my bow sling came loose and my bow plummeted 25 feet to the ground! We checked it out and everything seemed fine so we went on with our hunt. But after I shot I immediately knew something had to of gotten bumped off square. But anyways we went back in this morning and there was blood everywhere!! That BloodSport Archery arrow tipped with that Flying Arrow Archery Toxic broadhead did a number on this beast and as you can tell we ended a long and worrisome night with a big rack at the end of the trail! We have HUNDREDS of DLC Covert Scouting Cameras pictures of this buck and have been watching him for the past 2 years! He blew up this year at 4 1/2 yrs old and was on the hit list for sure! I want to personally thank all of our sponsors for helping take this big boy down considering the poor shot!
