Here in McDowell Co. NC they removed the word God from a 6 year olds poem. That did not go over so well and the then school superintendent Gerri Matin is no longer with our school system. Never the less our children are discouraged to pray in the name of Jesus, say Merry Christmas or sing a song with the words God or Jesus in it for the talent show. So my question is why were these Middle School girls from Colorado even visiting a mosque ? Considering there age it was above their total comprehension and at a age that is very vulnerable and more impressionable. Clearly this field trip was either not thoroughly thought out or of an ulterior motive. I would wish no disrespect on any one of any faith but it clearly seems to me that same courtesy does not imply to Christians not even in America. I will not remain silent !
