Here in New Mexico, we have all the building blocks for a strong high-tech sector that will create good-paying jobs, and thats why Im working to make it easier to spin off businesses from cutting-edge research at our national labs and bases. Its also why Im urging the Department of Defense to award a grant of $200 million to create an Integrated Photonics Manufacturing Institute here in New Mexico.
