Here in the US, we all have the freedom to attend religious services, but for some of us, accessibility becomes an issue. We received an anonymous email from a 3E Lover in Illinois asking for advice. He is a wheelchair user due to a Spinal Cord Injury, and there are parking issues at the church he used to attend with his wife. The only entrance ramp they have is often blocked by a vehicle, and they do not have accessible parking. They are currently making changes to the structure of the parking lot, and when he asked the pastor about creating an accessible spot for his van, he said he would only do it if he would attend every Sunday. While we know this was a very ignorant response by the pastor, and we wish the world was more welcoming, the gentleman who wrote us would like advice on what he should do, and if there are any laws that protect him! Thanks, and Love Life! 3elove
