Here in the US we believe in a free market economy. Those who have skills that are marketable and scarce are those who receive the greatest reward. The only way we can move from one income level to the next (with integrity) is through the acquisition of something that is needed by the society in which we live. If, over time, our expenditures continue to exceed our income we will experience financial bondage. Creditors only care about the payment not the payee. God promises we will not face more than we can endure but the hardship and trial of being imprisoned through living paycheck to paycheck is a tough road to face. God will walk with us but unless we change our behavior we will be walking this path forever.
