Here is 1 EASY, CHEAP way to help with fine motor skills. Yesterday, I talked with the owner of my favorite toy store about tips for helping our son work on his fine motor skills, besides the usual suspects. He gave me tons of great tips, and one REALLY stood out. He pointed me to the mini water guns (or other water squeeze toy if you dont want guns). Your pointer finger is crucial for building fine motor skills, and just giving these toys to the kids in the bath meant that they were exercising those muscles for 20 minutes, and having the best time ever.
