Here is Johnny Gs video the Inventor & Icon of Spinning® Notice the pushup pulses while seated at 6:00 min , Popcorn jumps at 6:22 min , the lateral side to side movement he is teaching the women on the bike at 6:27 min , spinning with no hands at 8:05 , more popcorn jumps at 9:10 min , more exaggerated lateral movement at 9:12 min , the over 110 RPMs at 10:25 min especially the guy off the bike with the black tank top , more popcorn jumps at 10:50 min , the under 60 RPMs in the saddle at 11:43 min , the Raise the Roof arm movements at 12:02 min , more popcorn jumps at 15:25 mins and handlebar pushups at 15:33 Whats my point ? Its so easy to sit back and pick apart any Indoor Cycling Instructors overall ride , even the Founder of Spinning® I have yet taken a class whether its was at ZenRide Spinning Studio , Joyride , SoulCycle® , Flywheel Sports or at any local gym . Where I felt the Instructor was purposely trying to injure me with movements that was uncomfortable to my body . If their was and exercise the Instructor demonstrated that I might not been a fan of ....well....I modified or just didnt do it . Ive always taken the positives from each Instructors class and then found ways to infused them into my own class to add more Peter G flavor :) Its so easy to be Rash & Bash ! How about we instead focus on what we do and how we do and constantly educate , improve , grow and evolve ourselves so we can impact our riders in a safe , positive , energetic , motivating, invigorating , educating , challenging and fun ride !
