Here is Skeeter, 3 weeks on. Having been found on New Years eve, battered and tied to a fence, he’s making a really good physical recovery. Look at how handsome his face is compared to the swollen shapeless mess it was when he was found. A young and handsome little staffie boy, Skeeter loves sitting in bed by the fire, balls, toys and visitors. He’s really affectionate – loves having cuddles and learning new tricks, and he is very clean in the house. He is still frightened when out in public and tries to hide if he sees groups of people approaching. This isn’t really surprising considering what happened to him just a few weeks ago, but it is improving. He is going to be such a lovely friend for the right family. If you think he could join your family get in touch, either by messaging this page or using the contact form here: moorlandsdogrescue.co.uk/contact Skeeter is vaccinated, microchipped and will be neutered. We will homecheck any potential new adopter to make sure that you and he are a good match, and we ask for a minimum donation of £125 to contribute to his rescue and substantial vet care costs, and to help us help more dogs.
