Here is Stellar! Almost exactly six years ago, on the August long weekend, when Stellar was just 11 weeks old (shortly before photo 2 here) and still an extremely feral foster kitten, he became very ill. I decided to take him in to an emergency clinic in Vancouver. One of the toughest afternoons of my life, as I paced the clinic floor, listening to his shrieks of feral fear for what seemed like hours. They gave him fluids and discharged him to go back home with me. He rallied, and pretty soon thereafter, one of VOKRAs vets diagnosed him as having cerebellar hypoplasia. A trial adoption did not work out, so I ended up adopting him. It took a long time for him to tame up, but he is now bonded with me and Martin now (more so Martin). We LOVE our big, strong, wobbly guy, who launches into the air and knows not where he will land. Every August long weekend, I relive that day at the clinic and am so grateful that he pulled through. Today, he climbed to the top of the huge Hobbit Tree.
