Here is a brief look at the current fires burning in Colorado: East Peak Fire: 11,385 acre fire in the Spanish Peaks near Walsenburg. Zero containment and at least 13 structures have burned. Fire started on Wednesday and the cause is still under investigation. West Fork Fire Complex: 53,000 acres fire in the Wolf Creek Pass area west of South Fork. Zero percent containment with no structures burned. Lightning is believed to have started several fires in the area. Fire is threatening the town of South Fork, but firefighters think that aspen trees have slowed the fire enough that the town can be saved. Bull Gulch fire: The 150-acre fire about nine miles northeast of Cotopaxi in Fremont County is 30 percent contained. Fire started on Wednesday and cause is still under investigation. No structures are threatened and "mop up" has begun. East Fork Fire: New fire started overnight. 120 acre fire east of the town of Ridgway in southwest Colorado. Zero percent contained and was started early Saturday morning by lightning. No structures threatened at this time. Lime Gulch fire: 511-acre wildfire in the foothills west of Denver near Conifer is 15 percent contained as of Saturday morning. Lightning is believed to have started the fire on Tuesday. No structures are threatened at this time. Wild Rose fire: 1,065 acre fire about 20 miles south of Rangely in northwest Colorado remains is 10 percent containment as of Saturday morning. Lightning is believed to have started the fire on Wednesday. About 46 structures are considered threatened. Collins Fire: 160-acre fire southwest of Meeker in northwest Colorado is zero percent contained. No structures threatened. Brush Creek fire: 450-acre fire is burning 12 miles north of Rifle in northwest Colorado. The lightning-caused fire started Thursday afternoon. No structures are threatened. Papoose Fire: 1,700 acre fire in Hinsdale county in southwest Colorado. This fire started Thursday and is zero percent contained and the cause is still under investigation. No structures threatened as of Saturday morning. Big Meadows Fire: 604 acres fire in Grand County in north central Colorado. This fire was started on June 10th by lightning and is now 95 percent contained. No structures were lost
