Here is a case study from my work today… I would love your opinions in the comments below! This location manager has turned around a quarter million dollars losing location which is now in the black. Hes done this in less than two years. He currently earns $40,000 per year. His wife struggles to find meaningful work that would justify the cost of daycare. He is salaried with only a small opportunity for a bonus. He feels trapped by his salary, feels that he is worth more, and isnt sure whether he should wait for that number to increase… Or go after other opportunity with a bigger paycheck. He is a solid employee, respected by the company, and would like to earn more. What would you advise him to do? Renegotiate his contract? Pursue the other opportunity? What would you do?
