Here is a common problem with the Chevy Silverados. This particular one was a 2001 with a 5.3 liter engine. Customer had a check engine light related to the knock sensor. This Sensor is located in the block under the Intake, so to replace you must remove the intake. In this particular engine there are 2 one for bank 1 and the other is bank 2. This Sensors sense vibration and the PCM uses the signal to change ignition timing and prevent detonation which can cause engine damage. In this vehicle the problem was caused by water entering the knock sensor through the boot as you can see in the video. The fix was replacing both sensors and resealing the boot with RTV to seal and prevent this problem.
