Here is a complaint we sent off about their annoying BBC Breakfast Facebook page which for some very odd reason !!!!!! decided that they were not going to discuss the big news of the Royal bith on the page .... do you think maybe they got cold feet ? On your BBC Breakfast show (also screened on BBC1) the entire show was more or less devoted to the Royal birth, there was even a feature in your business slot on the program about memorabilia/collectables associated with the birth so it is with out doubt that the BBC thought that the birth was not only an item of news but also a topic for debate, so then why was the Facebook page for the program devoid of any posts associated with the Royal birth ????? Please BBC do not fob me off with your usual "its an editorial decision" and then give me your standard robot like claim that you are not the mouthpiece for the Palace Pr machine, I pay a license fee and do not expect to be bombarded with your Royal Family feel good fluff and guff on a daily basis and as a fee payer I also deserve a proper and truthful explanation as to why the BBC decided to not give the public an opportunity to give their opinions/comments about the Royal birth on the BBC Breakfast Facebook page ... is it maybe because your editors (and the BBC) knew that by giving the public a chance to debate the matter on the BBC Breakfast FB page that you would have been overwhelmed with an avalanche of negative comments about the Royals themselves and your continuing sycophantic coverage of them ???? If you must report news/trivia about the Royal Family then could you kindly make sure that it is the facts and not endless hours of speculation and could you also give equal coverage to the more negative Royal news ?
