Here is a custom reclaimed wood vanity that I built for a client. I think this one is my favorite. I used a blend of hardwoods with gray and brown tones for the base and re-sawn material from barn beams for the top. The towel hangars are made from sliding barn door track that was rusty. The client then chose a cutoff from the towel bars as a handle for the small cupboard. The handle and bars turned out really nice. Base is natural colors sealed with a polyurethane and the top is stained for color with teak oil, then 3 coats of waterproof polyurethane. We sealed the towel bars with polyurethane to maintain the rusty look so that the rust wouldnt rub off. What do you think?
