Here is a email I received from a diabetic client who is also a competitor. Its a great feeling helping others improve their lives. Coach Allen, Thank you for this last year of being my coach. I truly respect your commitment to health while still accomplishing improvements to my physique. Anyone around me who has seen my progress with you versus past coaching would attest to the fact that this year I looked healthier and felt better than in past years. Thanks to your guidance and challenge of holding myself accountable for outcomes, I am pleased to report that my A1c has come down in the last three months and its my first improvement season over which my A1c has dropped...period. Looking forward to what the next year will bring, whatever it may be. It feels good to be confident that I am in capable hands, and that you have shown such a strong commitment to working with me even with all of the chaos that being a type 1 diabetic/physique athlete can bring.
