Here is a full review of someone I defrauded recently: If youre reading this review, youve probably been defrauded by Teodoso Ortiz Garza (aka Ted Ortiz, Teodoso Ortiz, Teodoso Garza, and Ted Garza), or youre about to be defrauded by him. Global Freight and Logistics is not a company you want to do business with. My transaction was to take a BMW from the UK to Ontario, Canada. Like many reviews for this company, this broker was a complete fraud. I somehow received this company name as a referral from a trusted friend, and did not do due diligence until it was too late. Another reviewer here said he is using a name that was closely associated with bon fide companies? Maybe it was another company my friend used? First, a few links about Teodoso Ortiz, or Teodoso Garza, or Ted Garza, or whatever he calls himself, his company Global Freight and Logistics, and his holding company in Cypress TX, TOG Holding Company LLC: Ted’s home address: houston.blockshopper/property/1198660020001/16242_haden_crest_court/ Ted’s previous address, living with Gilda A Garza at 10225 Wortham Blvd, #2201, Houston, TX, 77065 Ted’s previous criminal conviction with mug shot: lookwhogotbusted/bastrop-county-tx/garza-teodoso-ortiz (Takes a while to load, sometimes does not connect) Ted has a holding company for his fraudulent car freight company quicktransportsolutions/freightbrokers/texas/cypress.php companies.findthecompany/l/1474338/Tog-Holding-Company-Llc-in-Cypress-TX Here is the time line of my dealings with Ted: Jun 11: Made contact, arranged deal over telephone. Jun 13-20: Sent pictures of car to Ted, arranged details of delivery. He was to arrange entire delivery from UK seller directly to my driveway in Ontario Canada. Ship was set to sail on Jul 1. Jun 24: Payment made in full via 2 wire transfers. Communications started dropping off, as he had not arranged a carrier to pick up car from UK seller to UK Port. But car was eventually picked up. So far, so good. Jul 1: Car received by Wallenius Wilhemlsen Logistics (“WWL” the ocean freight company). Turns out the ship sets sail on Jul 15. Jul 22: Car arrives into Port of Halifax, but I did not know it had arrived, and no communication from Ted since end of June, but I just happened to send an email requesting status update. No reply from Ted. Aug 2: Did an internet search for Global Freight and Logistics, saw this website, started digging. Asked seller for any documentation of the car, which he sent. Got the booking number on the ocean vessel, looked on WWL website to track GPS location of the ship, contacted the CDN transport company that was on the booking reference that was supposed to pick up the car and ship to my home. Aug 8: Get an email from Ted that car will arrive to my home by Aug 23. Aug 21: Followed up with Ted to make certain my car will arrive as schedule. No response. Aug 23-Sep 3: Constant telephone calls and emails went unanswered. One email indicated I will call you back. You have my word. Yes, really. He said that. I did not get a call back. Excuses Ted used include: I was at a funeral; My sister is in the hospital; My assistant is on maternity leave; Our entire office came down with a case of stomach flu; One of the transport trucks broke down, getting another (they dont own any trucks). Sep 4: Told him to contact a CDN transport company to ship my car or I file a police report. He booked with one, I contacted the CDN company, they confirm they were contacted. Sep 9: Ted tells me they will ship in 3-4 days. Sep 10: Delivery date changes in CDN transport companys tracking page. I immediately call them, as well as Ted. CDN company said Ted never paid them. Also, no paperwork to show custom charges were cleared for them to have the car released. Sep 10-11: I told Ted I will file police reports if he does not pay CDN transport company and custom charges. He said he wanted to cancel the transaction and refund custom and remaining freight fees to me. I accept the offer, said the fees need to be refunded to my bank or I proceed with police report. Sep 12-15: Start contacting other CDN transport companies and brokers for quotes and assistance. I find out that although the UK transport company and WWL did the delivery all the way to Halifax port, Ted has not paid them, WWL is holding the car until freight is paid (which I feel is fair and reasonable). Sep 16: Ted saw my review posted on TransportReviews, and wrote this to me: “Your cancellation is being completed. My office has informed that you wrote a negative review on our company. That is fine however attaching my name to it is not. If my name is not removed from the review we will proceed with whatever legal ramifications regarding slander there are.” I told him to return my money and I’ll remove the review. Needless to say, nothing was done. Oct 10: Get an email from Ted that a refund cheque was sent on Oct 4, should arrive in 7-10 days. Oct 15: I actually get an email from Ted following up asking if I received the check! Answer of course, was no. Oct 31: Emailed Ted, told him I haven’t received the check yet. I told him “The check is in the mail” was probably a precursor to “the check must have been lost in the mail”. I told him if I don’t receive my money, I will be posting all information I am able to find out about him on my next review, and will share my review with everyone he knows. So he has known about this review for the last month, and I gave him every opportunity to return my money and avoid this review. Nov 1: Ted replies, telling me he had instructed his CPA to send out the check, and will follow up with his CPA. He also said “If you contact any of my family members I promise you that I will return the favor. I will contact my attorney today. Slander can be reciprocated. I choose not to go down that road. You bring my parents or kids into this then you will cross a line.” Ted fails to understand that slander is when someone tells lies about him. Since I haven’t lied about what he did, he can’t sue me for slander. Everything here in my review is fact. Also, all the information I am posting on this review is publicly found online, so I did not do anything illegal to obtain this information. Ted also fails to realize that he crossed my line when he lied and took over $7,000 from me. Nov 8: Gave Ted one last reminder that I am going to post this review. Nov 11: Ted told me he will transfer the money, but since bank was closed due to Veterans Day, he said he would do it in the next couple days. Nov 18: Still no transfer, but Ted told me he did it online, and must have been a snag. (sure) Nov 19: Ted tells me again that he made the transfer, but I have not seen the money yet. What I find incredible is that Ted actually thinks in his mind that people believes he actually tried at all to refund the money when he has no intention of returning a single dollar. In fact, he’s just lying to himself. This brings us to today. Unlike Ted, whose words don’t carry a single ounce of truth, here is all the personal info about Tedodoso Garza, as I had promised him I would post. Also, as promised, I will be sending a paper copy of this entire review, along with a copy of his mug shot to all the neighbors on his street, as well as everyone he knows that I am able to obtain a street address for. I will also contact the IRS to notify them of Ted’s under-reporting of income for all the income he collected from all the customers he defrauded, (Ted, I know you are reading this, and you knew this was going to happen. You really gave me no choice; you took the nuclear option.) - Ted Garza’s dad is Everett M Garza. Mother is Mary O Garza. - Everett and Mary are owners of Telge Manor Mobile Homes Park located at 11602 Advanced Drive, Houston, TX wysk/index/texas/houston/3uy4b8h/telge-manor-mobile-home-park-inc/officers - Ted has 3 sons, one of which works at Saltgrass Steakhouse. - Two of Ted’s children’s names are Christopher and Anthony. - Ted Garza went to Cypress Creek High School, class of 1986. - Ted was formerly married to Amy Accardo, but has since been divorced.
