Here is a happy reunion story to start off your week! A Fort Washington, MD family lost their dog, Prince, a two-year-old, unneutered male Yorkshire terrier the beginning of July. According to the family, Prince loves to wander and they were so sad when they were not able to find him. Prince was found a little over two months later in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. The Arlington resident, who found Prince, filed a lost report with AWLA and came in to have him scanned for a microchip. The microchip was traced by AWLA to the owner and both owner and finder met at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. There were a lot of tears of joy from the family, finder, AWLA staff and volunteers alike!
