Here is a letter from an Independent Distributors experience. I know its long, but give it a read. You might just find it informative... Hello Robert, How are you? Thank you for replying to my introduction to Kangen Water. Before I get in the intricacies of the water Ionizers, I first must give you a brief about the development of the Ionizer industry and why Enagic stands as the leader in our industry and preventative health. I was first introduced to Enagic in 2003. Enagic opened its doors in 2004 and was invited to attend a water symposium by the Enagic Company. At first I wasn’t going to attend the event and as It turned out, after being at this symposium, my thoughts changed when I properly educated in this matter…. My colleague finally convinced me to attend the event held in NYC. Upon my arrival there were Doctors in attendance from every health profession. This symposium held several key note speakers from the Enagic Company and were introducing to the United States a new type of technology that at first, I thought at first a little far-fetched until they got into the science of Ionization. After the lecture to which I still have many pages of those notes today. I first hand, looked at these machines remembering them from my trips to Japan in the mid and latter 1980’s. During my visits, I noticed that the water tasted different, every restaurant and no matter the hotel I stayed in had these water Ionizers. I just never put the two together until the Symposium and realized that this is going to be the next mega trend and probably the greatest preventative health measure of this generation. Now, as to answer your question, “why are the Enagic water Ionizers that produce Kangen Water so different from other Water Ionizer Companies Machines?” I’ll start off by giving you an analogy… if you were going for surgery and you had an option to use a certified medical device that has clinical studies and have been proven to help you, would you choose the product with a 40 year proven track record or would you choose an “Unknown” uncertified device?? Enagic initially manufactured these Ionizer machines for agricultural purposes in Japan, realizing that they were poisoning their own natural resource by using chemical pesticides, was not the avenue to go by. With further studies using these machines on agriculture uses and witnessing increased yields and healthier livestock, they realized that they had something special, unique; and with the insight by open mined doctors, it has slowly developed into becoming a medical device in Japan since 1965. More than three decades of clinical studies has shown that the electrolyzed water enhances healing power of the human body as well as being ecofriendly. In by the mid 90’s, alkaline water and its benefits were started to be recognized by the Japanese public and due to the technological advancement, this enabled various companies in Japan to develop smaller in-home units. In 1998, Dr. Shirahata of Kyushu University had discovered the connection between electrolyzed water and the natural healing waters in many parts of the world. What Dr. Shirahata has found, was that all these waters have a common property; tremendous anti-oxidant power. He soon came up with a theory that “Active Hydrogen” is the reason behind such incredible healing abilities. Many scientific studies on this water have been resumed, led by the Functional Water Foundation in Japan since 1995; the full potential of electrolyzed water is only now being recognized for the waters unique properties towards better health. enagic There is a long history of clinical testing with Enagic, (over 39 years) alkaline water and the Enagic Ionizer water machines have been increasingly popular in recent years. Thanks to the media publicity since the discovery made by Dr. Shirahata of Kyushu University in 1998, when he discovered the connection between electrolyzed water and the natural healing waters that exist around the world. Since then, hundreds of hospitals across Japan started experimenting with alkaline water as well as, Super Acidic water as part of their medical practices for all kinds of cases and diseases. Enagic, coupled with its impeccable track record of alkaline water treatment, began getting huge attention from the public in Japan, fueled by a series of documentary programs as well as countless numbers of testimonials from former patients appearing in many books and talk shows. The political battle is easy to guess. Doctors and the pharmaceutical industry want to protect their own interests. The Japanese government wants to slow down the hype and decide that the alkaline water industry cannot advertise or speak publicly of its merits, using “cure” language, until the science of this water is 100% proven. This sounds familiar, doesn’t it? With all this confusion, the Japanese government bans claims on a grander scale, they have admitted to certain health benefits of alkaline water, and just have upgraded the water Ionizer models status, from being a health appliance to a medical device. If you put this in a global perspective, the water technology is practically non-existent outside Japan. Enagic now has been in the United States for only seven years now and have expanded have offices worldwide and are making a huge impact on many lives. The Enagic Ionizers use medical grade Titanium, all the other companies use ordinary cheap Titanium to which, it is caustic and can poison your water. I have experienced this with two other competitors Ionizers that I have experimented with over the years; they are currently sitting on a shelf in my garage! The titanium that Enagic uses is also precisely coated with a high grade medical grade Platinum. When the water passes within the inner chambers the proper amount of current is given, to give the water its unique properties. All the other companies merely manufacture a classy looking kitchen device, and with the proper advertising give them its luster and state that they are equal to the Enagic machines. Upon Enagic’s arrival to the United States there weren’t any Ionizer Companies to speak of. Soon afterward, several years had gone by, then three perhaps four companies came to the market. In 2008, I had witnessed I have witnessed the growth of this industry with more than a dozen companies claiming to be the best. And even worse, there are some people who are trying to sell cheaper ionized alkaline water machines as if they were the same or similar level as with Enagic’s alkaline water ionizers, only cheaper. I ask the question…Cheaper for what? Even if the “Knock offs” tried to reproduce our machine they would never be able do so do, due to patents and proprietary parts manufactured specifically for Enagic.. All the other machines parts are farmed out and assembled on a conveyor belt. Enagic manufactures their machines in a “Certified Medical” facility and only one certified technician builds our machines from start to finish... Its like Hyundai comparing themselves to Mercedes, is there a difference??? Enagic is the ONLY ionizer manufacturer to have received the Gold Seal Certification from WQA certification.. (Water Quality Association) No other company can claim what Enagic has to offer. With 40 years of history, awards, accolades and endorsements from world renowned Scientist, MD’s, and health professionals Enagic is simply the Gold Standard in the industry! This is why many of the NBA, NFL, MLB, PGA, LPGA, NASCAR, NHL, NY Yankees, AZ Diamondbacks, Houston Rockets, Yankees and LA Dodgers just to name a few are not taking any chances with these new ionizers that are popping up with absolutely with No track record or history to back them up... We currently have machines in the White House, President Obama and administration is drinking Kangen water. there really is no comparison regardless of what the manufacturer claim. Unfortunately, anything can be said on the internet and many people are being duped in buying machines, which do not produce what they claim, and some machines are already causing adverse affects! Before I conclude my letter, as I have mentioned earlier, animals are susceptible to diseases just as humans and come to learn that dogs as compared to us humans have a very fast metabolism and thus react much better and faster to Enagics Kangen water®.
