Here is a list of 12 things (some of the listed might prefer not to be thought of as things but, for today, things they are): the Kardashians, playground bullies, Fidel Castro, Lindsey Lohan, lobbyists, North Korea, the Ebola virus, John Edwards, meth labs, communism, gonorrhea and telemarketers. Now here is another list of 12 things (with the same caveat as before): Nickelback, traffic jams, NFL replacement referees, head lice, Donald Trump, France, Genghis Khan, root canals, cockroaches, used car salesman, colonoscopies and Brussels sprouts. What does the first group have in common? Each is actually LESS popular than the United States Congress. A special "well done" to our esteemed elected officials for knocking off the Ebola virus and gonorrhea in a popularity contest. And the second group? Each is actually MORE popular than the United States Congress.
