Here is a little more office work. I cant recall where the heat sensor is located on the ceiling but at one point the top of the room reached 1,589º F. We followed 1403 standards and I am standing simply to stoke the fire. None of the students were in the room at the time. Everyone loves to feel the heat, but it is important to recognize that its only a segment of how we learn. As impressive as these photos are, it can be difficult at times to provide the students with realistic scenarios for logistical reasons. This is obviously not the fault of any instructor, but participants need to know the difference between fuel-limited fires, which is what they will encounter here, and the ventilation-limited fires theyll see in the real world. It is at that point that they should adjust their tactics accordingly. Aside from staying low, what advice would you give students training in a class A burn building so they can establish good habits early?-The Truck
