Here is a message from my Toastmasters colleague, Aasiyah Ghazi. We are looking for a few more people in the helping professions - coaching, hypnotherapy, holistic health, etc., who would like to join. Initial cost is only $57.60 for six months and all materials. Good afternoon everyone, I want to thank you for coming on Sunday to the kick off meeting for the new Toastmasters club I am opening that is geared towards people who are in service to help others through various facets – hypnotherapy, coaching, holistic health, and so on. The kick off was a major success and everyone is still talking about it! I am still working on the date for the next meeting where we will be choosing officers who will help move this new club to the right direction, and together, we will come up with the best day, time and frequency of the meetings, as well as the best name for our club. I was thinking about Mind Mastery Toastmasters – a name that allows anyone who wants to join, the chance to do so because this is an open club and I want to make sure everyone joins and stays active. But we can take other suggestions and ideas and then put them to a vote together, because this is team work. I am on a deadline and need your assistance! So far, I have 14 people who have signed up for the club – including myself. I am looking for at least 6 or 7 more people who would like to join – the more, the better even. How many of you can tell at least one other person you know about Toastmasters, the benefits of joining and can get them to join by this Friday? All of your forms will be going to headquarters and needs to be turned in by Saturday. If you can have at least one friend or family member join with you, we can reach the amount of people required to have this club become a reality and be officially chartered before June 30. Attached is the Charter Member Application Form. Please forward it to your friends, colleagues, family members, and anyone else you know who would benefit from this amazing organization and see themselves grow. If you have not yet joined, but want to do so, please do it this week if you would like to be known as one of the founders of the club (that is what being Chartered means). As far as the dues, Toastmaster International is still processing paperwork from all around the world, so it does take about a couple of weeks before the dues are processed through. If you have a fear of public speaking, or want to learn more about leadership skills that will help you become successful in your own business, or career goals on a personal and professional level, Toastmasters will help you push through and grow beyond what you could have ever thought about.
