Here is a photo from 1951 of my Uncle Buddy (Stanley Slusarczyk) who is standing on the left, and an unknown kid on the right when they had a lemonade stand in the front yard of the house I still live in to this day! I am just amazed at how this place looked back then ten years before I was born. I keep looking at this and just thinking about all of our family history at this place. My house was built in 1870 (Ulysses S. Grant was President and it was only five years after the Civil War ended) and has been in our family since 1910. I had it rehabbed in 2009 and will live here until the next family member takes it over someday! Next to the photo of my uncle is how my yard appeared from nearly the same angle in 2012.
