Here is a prime example of our messed up society and why Black Friday isnt worth it. People rush these stores to buy overstocked items at the mall and fight to save a few bucks... Than theres the crap technology that marketing is done on to make it look like youre getting a huge deal like the $200 TVs that have been shown at every commercial break this week are only actually about $50 off and have terrible specs. I just dont get it. I always have family try and get me to go shopping on these days and its like you are crazy for even considering it! You can get just as good of deals using the web by just doing a bit of searching. Unless youre going to buy a big-ticket item that will garner you a couple thousand dollar discount you are just being a sucker for these brick and mortar stores doing this to attempt a sales spike so the playing field is leveled for the annual reports when they compare what e-retail sales were. Avoid the stores and relax this weekend. If something is only available in-store, its a scam. People get paid 10s of thousands of dollars to make these ads attention you to feel to forcefully shop when Amazon, Newegg, Overstock, etc. have these same prices all year round. The Google Shopping field is your friend and if you check it you can find deals on whatever, whenever. Also, RetailMeNot is a great site with a database to find deals and coupon codes for physical and web-based stores. You can always find the price-point you want if you dont rush and just do some research... Happy Holidays and if you are one of the crazies out there waiting in massive lines going to war to buy something, just be safe and think, is this really worth it???
