Here is a quick #BehindTheWeather blog for this early Wednesday - TopicsExpress

Here is a quick #BehindTheWeather blog for this early Wednesday morning. The latest GFS model (0z) is looking a bit more intense with the low pressure cutting across the Great Lakes with the second cold front on Halloween night. Interestingly enough, it may wrap cold area all around Ohio all the way down into the Tennessee Valley. Notice on this model (posted) for Friday night, and Saturday morning Ohio stays in the warmer air keeping most of the precipitation as rain, at least initially. What is unknown is how quickly the colder air will get drawn into the center of the storm. If it is quick enough, well see some light snow before the precipitation ends as it moves off to the southeast Saturday. Even if we do see snow, the ground would likely be just too warm for much if any accumulation except maybe on some grassy areas. Despite that, the GFS model does hit at some accumulations around the state, but this will likely change as we get closer. This storm system will come into range of our high-resolution models in the next 24 hours and well get a much better idea of the details. Ill keep you posted!
