Here is a quick intro - We are Pei People Shar Pei Rescue - we operate in Las Vegas (along with California and Arizona) and we need fosters for our cute wrinkly shar pei, particularly in Las Vegas. We pulled 22 shar pei last year from The Animal Foundation and a couple from Henderson Animal Care. If you are interested in fostering, please email us at info@peipeople. Each rescue operates differently, so here is how we work with our fosters - we do NOT have you go to weekly adoption events (shar pei are a unique breed and we dont want impulse adoptions), we do all the marketing of your foster and screening of applications, we pay for medical costs as long as you go to one of our Las Vegas vets and get it pre-approved by us.
