Look at my very first paragraph. (My motivation for this article was a client of mine who was arrested and charged after filing a complaint against a police officer at Sherwood. Since then, I was able to get the charges against her dismissed.) Anyway, the point remains the same: Police cannot be trusted to investigate themselves. Yes,this means YOU (and me, when I was a police officer).
