Here is a report put together by Lisa Haven on what Facebook has been up to. I see some people put up those posts that are supposed to serve as a Privacy Notice, and those notices state that no one has their permission to share any of their content with anyone. It might possibly do some degree of good in certain instances, but the bottom line is if you do not want to share any of the things you have on your profile with the public, then you should not have it contained in your profile to begin with. Facebook is linked with Google, who is linked with YouTube. It would appear that Google is pretty much the glue that connects many of the websites, your email, and just about everything else online these days! Ive noticed that there are those pop-up notices that try to encourage everyone to sync up all of what ever websites, emails, home computer, their mobile Android, Iphone, smartphone, and whatever else, and lump everything together. I get notices that bug me for my phone number and address as well. Syncing all of your stuff together might make things more convenient for you, but it sure would also make it much easier and convenient for someone who wanted to check up on you as well!
