Here is a sad article on how icons of Africa like Strive Masiyiwa, Kofi Annan @AGRA (Alliance of Green Research Association) and Mampela Ramphele, to name a few, are being co-opted by the Rockefella Foundation, Bill & Melinder Gates Foundation, Monsanto, DuPont and Syngenta to destroy organic seeds and soil in Africa under the deceptive name: The Green Revolution and bio-technology so that they can control seeds and food production on the continent and the rest of the world. The strategy is simple: - They identify leading African agriculture scientists and send them to the US, Norway and Switzerland for courses on the latest agricultural best international practise and techniques on increasing agricultural yields. - In these courses the scientists will be taught something called Market-orientated Agriculture and agribusiness. These are two terms that were coined at Harvard by Dr John Davis to express the US government and US business strategy to control the world through monopolising agriculture, controling food supply and facilitating unhindered market penetration for value chain businesses into developing economies. This Green Revolution itself was initiated in 1972 in Mexico and other Asian countries. - A large part of the training will involve the African agricultural experts being taught how to use US bio-engineered hybrid seed varieties [GMOs] that have Genetic Use Restriction Technology (GURT). GURT is an ominous technology by which a patented commercial seed commits ‘suicide’ after one harvest. This therefore prevents farmers from harvesting seed to replant, forcing them to have to buy new seeds from the seed breeders every season. - Furthermore, to grow optimally, these hybrid [GMO] crops require large doses of fertiliser, pesticides and herbisides which are all manufactured and marketed by Rockefeller controlled petro-chemical companies. - To participate cost effectively in this Greening Revolution, Africa will require large commercial farms that will borrow large amounts of money from financial institutions to finance the seasonal [yearly] purchase of hybrid [GMO] seeds, fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides. - Funding will be made easily and cheaply available to the big commercial farms courtesy of IMF, World Bank (where Mampela was once head), USAID, Chase Manhatten Bank (Rockefeller owned) and other such Brettenwood institutions. - As cultivation intensifies, small farmers will see their organic crops contaminated by the GMO pollen, destroying their seed stocks, and since they cant afford to buy the GMO seeds and the accompanying chemicals they will not be able to compete or survive so they will be pushed off their land and the commercial farms will take over. The plan is for subsistence farmers to be pushed off their land into squatter camps in the cities to look for work so that they can be cheap labour for the US global agribusiness companies setting up shop. NOTE: this was the hallmark of colonisation. - Because of the huge use of pesticides, chemicals and monoculture cultivation that will be practised in agribusiness, African soils will become less fertile and toxic, making it impossible to grow organic crops and leaving Africa entirely dependent on supply of seed from private western companies. - It is forcast that within 10yrs, if Africa lets this situation develop, Africa will be fully dependant on only 4 Private Biotech companies and their governments for their food.
