Bernard Joseph Steffen, born in Neodesha & WPA artist. Dorothy DeLay, Julliard Violin Instructor. 3. Phil Stong, author of At The Fair and Neodesha English teacher in the 1920s. 4. Harry Hines Wooding, Secretary of War. 5. Boston Corbett, killer of John Wilkes Booth, who was last seen in Neodesha. 6. Jessie James may have at least passed through Neodesha visiting relatives; no, he was not the one dug up here. 7. Grimes Poznik(ov), trumpet player on the wharf in San Francisco should probably be included. 8. Lyle D.
