Here is a special update from Maximilian! Hi everyone! Its me, Max! I know a lot of you have been waiting for an update about me - so here it is :) When a nice company found me a few months ago I was homeless, cold, starving, and badly injured. The kitty surgeon said that my leg was shattered! If CARMA hadnt rescued me I might not have made it! The kitty surgeon said that my surgery would be really expensive so the nice people at CARMA reached out to all of you for some help. THANK YOU! Because of all of you kind, generous humans the kitty surgeon was able to operate and put a pin in my leg to help it heal. You saved my life ❤️ Jennifer, the nice CARMA lady, brought me into her home and took extra good care of me for the first few weeks after my surgery. She gave me my medicine and fed me delicious food. I was so skinny you could see so many of my bones! Then a human couple came to meet me and decided they wanted to foster me. I moved into their house but had to live in a big crate for a long time to make sure I healed properly. Eventually I was allowed to run around the house and play with my foster sister, Nikki! I got to sleep in my very own kitty bed, eat really yummy food, and play with lots of toys. My favourite part of the day was when I got to snuggle with my foster mom and get pets from my foster dad. I got to sleep in bed with my foster parents (and they didnt kick me out even though I snore really loudly for a kitty)! Today was a really big day for me! The surgeon took the pin out of my leg and said I was all healed and really healthy. Today was also the day that my foster parents officially adopted me! I never have to be out in the cold ever again because I have a forever family who really loves me. Here are a few pictures of me throughout my CARMA journey (and featuring my sister, Nikki):
