Here is a startling truth, Christ wasn’t a nice guy. We always - TopicsExpress

Here is a startling truth, Christ wasn’t a nice guy. We always say be “Christ like”. That means being willing to chase people with a whip as we turn over their tables. It means calling the Christian leaders of today, (Priests, Pastors, Preachers, ect.) a “Brood of Vipers” if they are not teaching truth. Christians “being nice” has cost Americans prayer in schools, the definition of marriage, Nativity scenes on public grounds, the government taking over the care of the poor, 17 trillion in debt, and an assault on Christianity in general. Paul called an entire church “foolish” in Galatians. He also had very harsh words for the Corinthian church. My beef has always been with Christians, they are the only ones I can judge and debate. I have been having seminars and conversations with Christian leaders about media, including social media. Nice guys finish last; in another word those who are trying to be “nice” make little impact. I am not saying be a “shock jock” but when I make a post that some people call “insensitive, “highly offensive”, or “politically incorrect” they are the posts that get the most likes and the most comments. The point of the seminar is you want to be either loved or hated for your beliefs. Christ said “I want you to be hot or cold, be lukewarm and I will spit you out of my mouth”. Christ also said I come to divide not unite. This unbelief that we are to be “nice” is killing Christianity. This does not mean we are to be rude to everyone we disagree with, but when we are attacked and belittled we do not cower and become a doormat for Satan. Christ said, “Those who are not for us, are against us”. The battle is real and being “nice” is not going to win it.
