Heres announcing the FETSU REFERENDUM RESULT: Total poll 89.25% 3640 ALL YES 13 ALL NO 1. Those you dont want the V.C: 4367 .. 96.34% 2. Those who want a judicial probe for the incident on the 17th of September: 4415.. 97.39% 3. Those who want a judicial probe for the incident on the 28th of August: 4377 96.55% 4. Those who want the reconstruction of the ICC: 4364 96.27% 5. Those who are against campus surveillance: 3903 86.10% As for what becomes of these results... These will aid the legal proceedings that we are currently in the midst of. These will aid the future functioning of the University at large because on the basis of this, we will not only be able to pressurize the V.C to leave, but also take further steps on establishing norms like a Gender Sensitive Campus, delegitimization of Police Atrocities on students since 2005 and 2010 are evidences of how the ruling party has this sick habit of using force to stop the dissent of campus democracy, and other norms for a better administration for the University. These results will also therefore, determine, the voice that the student community at large can raise. News of the concrete usage of these results will only be known and made available once there is a general body meeting.
