Here is a video of electronic musician, Sally Sparks, - TopicsExpress

Here is a video of electronic musician, Sally Sparks, demonstrating one of the ten thoiusand programs in Spectronics’ OMNISPHERE when triggered with her Haken Continuum. This sound is very reminiscent of the TALKING MACHINE effect when used with the theremin, except that the Continuum can alter timbre in performance by moving the finger forward and backward on the fingerpad (called the ‘Y’ axis). The Continuum fingerpad controls volume with finger pressure (the ‘Z’ axis) and pitch with motion to the left and right (the ‘X’ axis). Sally is not attempting to imitate an opera singer in this video (believe me, that ain’t her cup o’ tea) she’s just demonstrating a sonic effect. If someone wanted to try it, I think an amazingly accurate emulation would be possible. Spectrasonics has just announced OMNISPHERE 2 which I will probably get. It would be interesting to see what sort of sounds are possible triggering the software with the MIDI Ethervox. https://facebook/video.php?v=10152758191484613
