Here is a video rendering prepared by Mills Group, LLC showing our current redevelopment concepts for The Professional Building. This video assumes the placement of a new elevator tower and fire stairwell in the adjacent alley (at bottom in the photo below). The front of the alley would be converted into a pedestrian walkway serving as the main entrance to the building (obviating the need for a lengthy wheelchair ramp on the Market Street sidewalk). The video begins with an overhead shot and then leads you through the alley walkway before taking you up to the 5th Floor, which has been redesigned in a far more open layout taking advantage of the 12 ceilings and ample natural light. Floors 2, 3, and 4 have the same existing footprint as 5 and could be redesigned similarly. Floors 1 and 6 will have more customized designs.
