Here is an email update on the prayer request....PLEASE READ and agree in prayer.... Hello loved ones, I wanted to send a brief follow up in regard to the special prayer request that I sent you last week concerning the persecution of Christians in Iraq. We hear somewhat conflicting reports. Some of the news is good, some of it is bad. Many are still suffering and dying, yet it does seem that the church of the Lord Jesus is also experiencing the protecting hand of God in so many ways! We do need to continue to pray as the conflict itself continues. In the confusion of whats going on, sometimes its hard to keep things in their proper sequence as they come to us. As a result some news is a few days old, some is up to date, and some we are not sure about. At any rate we need to pray! Remember some things happen when we pray that do not happen if we do not pray. So I think there are four requests on which we can agree in prayer. 1. Pray for the protection of Christians and others as well during this horrible persecution. 2. Pray that evil doers will be thrown into confusion and become ineffective. 3. Pray that evil doers will hear Scripture and see dreams and visions that will turn them to the true and living God. 4. Pray for peace and stability in the region; especially for the peace of Jerusalem. I love you Pastor
