Here is an example of Aqua Zumba, with the ZES instructor who licensed me to teach it. https://youtube/watch?v=vGES45JUglA Aqua Zumba: Info facts and benefits Water is 400 times more dense than air, working every muscle, in every direction at 400 times the intensity with little impact on your joints. Aqua Zumba has less complicated choreography, and the steps are done slower because of the water resistance, so a Zumba song during a regular Zumba class that has steps to every beat of the music, are done at 1/2 tempo or less in Aqua Zumba, but with 400 times the resistance on your muscles, that you hardly notice! After an Aqua Zumba class, you feel the results in all your muscles from the workout, with a sensation of getting a massage at the same time! Great high cardio workout, without the stress on your knees, joints and feet! Unlike in fitness boot camp classes that are tough on the body in more negative ways. Boot camp classes are high intense short workouts that are killer on the knees and joints, without enough time to actually get much of a result. Your body will continue to require the nutrience it demands during a fitness boot camp long after you are done the fitness boot camp class, causing weight gain and possible injures to joints and knees. Aqua Zumba and other Zumba classes benefit the entire body in lower impact ways during the workouts because of the dance moves that are choreographed, allowing you to set your own pace in the classes, causing a continued healthy fitness routine for your body. PLUS.... Zumba is a BLAST!!! Please join the Middleburgh Zumba Group page https://facebook/groups/MiddleburghZUMBA/ for all the classes and up-to-date info on all the Zumba classes; from Zumba to Zumba Step, Zumba Kids and now, Aqua Zumba! Message me (Michele Mix) if interested in the August Aqua Zumba class starting Monday, August 4th, from 7:30-8:30pm at the Middleburgh Town Pool. Space is limited, so signup in required. Classes are $5, wear a supportive swimsuit, water shoes (if you prefer, but not required), bottle of water, towel, and a smile! See you in the water! If interest is high, I may hold 2 classes at the pool a week during August, I will post info if this happens. Aqua Zumba classes will run all summer next year!
