Here is an example of how to pay it forward.... So ..... There was a lady in front of me that was trying to figure out how much time of the medications are going to be for her sister because she has cancer and she just got out of surgery. Her Insurance does not kick in until tomorrow.... They seriously sent her home with no pain meds... Seriously, what is wrong with this system!?! It made me so sad.... She was 27 years old my her sister said that her father passed away when he was 21 from the same condition. She had her sisters and everybody trying to figure out how we were going to come up with the $32 that it was for just a couple of days to get her through and until her insurance kicked in. Meanwhile, Im checking my credit card to see if there was any portion of it that I could cover. I had $24 on one card, the most expensive one was for 13. After they walked away as they were talking about how they were going to that.... I whispered to the tech that I would like to pay for the $13 prescription. All of the pharmacy techs were just in awe. I DO have a good heart......
