Here is an excerpt from a recent message from World Hope. Dear Gary & Becky, I personally visited 150 of the 878 wells that World Hope International drilled from 2005 to 2012. I wish you could experience the outpouring of gratitude that I heard from the people I met at the wells. “Thank you! This well keeps giving us water when all the other wells dry up.” “This well has made our lives so much easier.” “People are coming from all over to get water here.” “We need more wells like this one.” Medical doctor, David Koroma, of the Adventist Hospital in Waterloo, Sierra Leone told me: “The water well drilled by World Hope International has improved the health status of our community. The old open hand dug wells we were using are very contaminated. This drilled well is sealed so that contamination is prevented. It helps reduce water-borne diseases, especially with the onset of the rainy season when running water and sewage enters the open wells. The drilled well is protected because of the depth of the well. This well is providing safe water to both the hospital and the surrounding community. We are very grateful for it. Thank you!” This great outpouring of blessing would not have happened without your generous contribution. Our drilling crews are ready to do their part to keep the clean water flowing to new communities. THANK YOU for your partnership!
