Here is an unsolicited comment from a voter who has watched the last couple of televised debates: Ive listened to two debates with you and the other Senatorial candidates. To be honest, my initial intent was to listen to Paul Broun say completely off the wall things (which he did, but not to the degree I had hoped). What surprised me, is that I expected to find no candidates worth even taking as anything more than comic distraction, and was really impressed with you. Looking over your campaign literature, there are many points we dont agree on, but the civil, tactful approach you used and the :45 second question towards the end of todays debate where you refused to treat health care as one monolithic issue, but rather looked at the patent revocation idea as a way to make simple changes that dont have anything to do with the screaming about should we keep or jettison Obamacare. It was refreshing to see someone treat the process, in spite of the limiting format, as an opportunity to attempt to initiate a reasoned, considered debate that steered clear of the dogmatic nonsense the party has been pedaling for a while. I imagine you would have done even better in a format conducive towards giving more detailed answers about your ideas. Anyway, thanks for giving me some faith that even in a time constrained format built around asinine catch phrases, respect and intelligence could shine through.
